In the morning Sybren Kooistra facilitated a training focusing on exchange about political engagement between our partners, Riwa Ghawi, founder of the Lebanese Green Wave, Georgian Greens Secretary-General Sopo Shubitidze, CDN-director Giorgi Ptskialadze and DWARS. We spoke about youth in politics and issues that crosses national borders.
In the afternoon our partners gave a presentation about their movements/political parties and the challenges they face during their work.
For the final part of the event we invited Bert Koenders, Farah Karimi, Mark Brakel and Riwa Ghawi for a paneldiscussion on the role of the Netherlands in the international field.
We look back on a great day and want to thank our partners and other participants for attending the event! In the future, we hope to organize more events in the Netherlands.
