Milka brings an impressive amount of experience. She is the founder of her own foundation “Lemat”. This foundation is dedicated to champion for a better policy towards newcomers in the Netherlands. Milka has an international background as she worked for the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) in Italy. In addition, she is a board member of the Foundation Max van der Stoel and she is a city councillor for the municipality of Amsterdam since 2022. Furthermore, Milka was a candidate for GroenLinks during the Dutch parliamentary elections of 2021.
We would like to welcome Milka to her new role and our beautiful foundation and we are looking forward to her start as Head of International Office.
The International foundation GroenLinks is an ancillary institution of Dutch political party GroenLinks. The foundation has been strengthening democratic processes in Southeast and Eastern Europe and North Africa for over 30 years with our like-minded partners. We are currently active in Morocco, Lebanon, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, North-Macedonia and, Montenegro. We also have a close partnership with Cooperation Development Network Eastern Europe (CDN) amongst others.
